It was a beautiful day to celebrate love as Nilda and Sean got married!
The setting - Brooklyn Winery - was absolute perfection. Sophisticated yet laid-back, urban yet earthy, chic yet chill - just like them! The best part is that it's not just for private events. In fact, we hung out in the main room prior to the ceremony, and really loved the whole vibe. We definitely plan to return.
The ceremony was touching and personal, lit beautifully by the awesome skylight. And then it was on to the party with a never-ending flow of wine and melt-in-your-mouth food delights. (Not that we're surprised, considering our hosts are two foodies!)
The cocktail hour featured an amazing spread of cheese and charcuterie, along with gorgonzola-stuffed figs and phenomenal bites of smoked salmon. We practically jumped the servers when those came around!
Then we dined family-style at tables named after the different places Sean and Nilda have traveled together. The place cards were all arranged in wine corks carefully carved by the lovebirds.

After eating to our hearts' content, we danced the night away with the happily married couple.
